Christmas Cards part 2

Every year I get a ton of those photo Christmas cards. I love them. I love to see how friends and family are growing up throughout the years and I think it gives a little more of a personal touch then the average Christmas card, although I kind of miss all those pretty cards too. My problem always comes when Christmas is over and I have to take down my display of cards. I don’t want to just throw away the faces of the families I love so much, and I can’t bare to discard of all those pretty Christmas cards. So for the past few years my pretty cards have been going to either the Easter Seals or whatever other charity asks first, and all my family and friends faces have been placed in my prayer box. I just cut the cards down to fit in the box, and when I’m praying I can draw a picture from the box and pray for that family. It’s great for our children too. They love being able to see who it is we are praying for.
