The couch to 5K

 

Running has never been my choice of excercise.  I have never enjoyed the feel of the pavement pounding against my body, and the effort of putting one foot in front of another for any period of time without any real purpose… (like running from a bear!)  just doesn’t make sense to me!

But a couple of friends convinced me to join them in running program that is supposed to enable us to run a 5K in 8 weeks. We are two weeks in to it and to be honest I’m surprised we have all stuck with it thus far.
