Teaching Tots

I know Wal-Mart sells it for $10.00 but I just can’t seem to bring myself to buy it. But I did just purchase the word factory at a consignment sale for $4.00. These are great tools for teaching letter sounds in a fun way as well as how words go together. There are several others in this series including math. I think they are all wonderfully done.

I know I shared it in one of my posts but I wanted to share it here as well.

We love starfall. Both of my children love to play it, there are so many different activities that they can do and it teaches letter sounds and letter recognition. I haven’t seen too many other sites that can compare. If you know of any let me know.

dscn3954.jpg  I wanted to share this great book, we use this book in our bedtime devotionals and our children really enjoy it. It has a short bible story and then it a little night light worm ask a few questions about the story and there is usually a question that pertains to the picture or something surrounding the picture, then there is a short prayer and verse. I love it because the stories and questions are age appropriate, the pictures are bright and inviting and it really gets children involved in the devotion.

  1. Thanks, Angela. I think we’ll try to find this one!

  2. where did ya get it? I would like a book like this so that maybe I can sneak a little JESUS into others.

  3. We picked it up at one of the christian bookstores. I really can’t remember which. But I’m sure it wouldn’t be hard to track down if you had the name.
