I am a 31 year old christian wife and mother to an amazing husband and three wonderful children who are 5, 4 and 1. I daily work at trying to figure out the role God has designed for me as wife and mother and constantly live on Grace with each of these areas. I enjoy family time, reading, cooking, scrapbooking, gardening (although not well), and a good girl movie.

Although I do not have a “sissy” of my own i can appreciate this story because I have a dear friend who does. I watch him from time to time and he is like you said only a “sissy” when his mom is around but around me and others he is well behaved, well mannered (as much as an 18 month can be), he plays nice with everyone around, and he listens and obeys instructions. in other words he is very well “trained”. I guess that is the biggest feat, is to make sure our children control themselves in public and with others and above all love Christ with all their hearts, minds and souls. But while they’re in our presence I guess it is a matter of how much if at all are we willing to put of with the sissy behavior. All I know is that it is amazing how a mother’s smell, face, and presence can make a kid (in my case a 5 month old) act in a crazy way!
Angela is an asset to our family. I depend on her advice and wisdom almost daily. I feel so lucky to have her as my “sister” .
